After studying photography in the UK for three years at Salisbury College of Art, my first job was as a press photographer in 1983.
After a very successful year I came to Bristol where I became an assistant to an advertising photographer specialising in food photography.
I later became self-employed myself as an advertising photographer and I'm still doing it. I am passionate about my work and can't see myself doing anything else.
The most interesting aspect of being a photographer is the fantastic variety of people you have the chance to meet and also the places you go. As time passes I have found an increasing affinity with the landscape and try to spend more time in this environment.
It is still a great adventure.
